Don't have a PlayStation 4 and missed out on free Don't Starve? The developer announced that a port along with DLC will be released on PlayStation Vita.
CVG reported Klei Entertainment's announcement on Friday along with detailing what would be a part of it.
Survival mode, adventure mode, and all of the original game's updates and characters will be included. Players can also jump into the Reign of Giants expansion if they wish, adding two seasons, two new characters, and additional monsters.
There was no confirmation that the multiplayer expansion would hit the portable release. That would be a huge miss if it weren't in an otherwise critically-acclaimed game.
The survival game that relies on trial-and-error is extremely deep and well worth playing, especially for those that got it free on the PS4. Don't expect Cross-Buy support for those that already have the console edition, but hopefully the game will be priced reasonably. If not at the $14.99 Steam and console price, then hopefully nothing above $20.
