Strategy RPG 'Natural Doctrine' coming to PlayStation platforms this fall

Natural Doctrine, a strategy RPG developed by Kadokawa Games, is coming to North America on all the active PlayStation platforms later this year.

The announcement by IGN comes on the heels of the game coming out in Japan this week. NIS America will be publishing the title stateside, and it will be coming out this fall on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
Today, IGN can reveal that Natural Doctrine -- the slick-looking strategy-RPG -- will be released in western markets. The game was developed by Kadokawa Games and launches in Japan on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita on April 3rd. Kadokawa is publishing the game itself in Japan; in the west, NIS will publish it.
This is the first game from new developer Kadokawa Games. The game looks to have multiplayer, but it's unknown if that's through online play or Cross-Play. ND will also allow players to pick up and play on any device with additional Cross-Save functionality.

What exactly is ND? IGN details that its a fantasy title, featuring "adventurers" that gather "a substance known as Pluton" and save "the city of Feste from destruction." The site also compares it to the likes of Final Fantasy Tactics and Advance Wars.

Here's an eight-minute gameplay video from the developer themselves. It's all in Japanese, so good luck figuring out what the hell is going on.
