PlayStation Network down for maintenance on Wednesday

Lady, you have to leave your lunch alone till I jack your car up!

The PlayStation Network will not be available on Wednesday for six hours in the United States.

Here's the official message from the PlayStation Community Forms by Digital Platforms Community Manager, Tempest_Fire:

We wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that there is a planned maintenance for PlayStation Network scheduled for Wednesday, September 25th from 10:15 9:15AM to 4:15 3:15PM Pacific Time (12:15 PM to 6:15 PM Eastern). To clarify, this is a 6 hour maintenance.
If you’ve signed onto PSN over the past few days, you’ll still be able to play online and access apps during this period, but you may receive a maintenance notification when attempting to access the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, and Account Management as these services will be unavailable. Be sure to sign in now if you wish to access the Network during this maintenance window.
Thanks for your patience during this maintenance timeframe, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Basically, for those that have a day off of work/class and planned to play online, or set a day aside to download all kinds of stuff to your PlayStation device, it's not going to happen.

For those that have a Vita, it's a perfect time to play the new free game available, Rayman Origins. For those that don't have a Vita...well, go read a book.
