"Killer is Dead" Release Date, Special Edition is Announced

Suda 024

Goichi Suda's (also known as Suda51) newest game, Killer is Dead, will hitting shelves at the end of the summer for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Publisher XSEED Games announced that the game will be released on August 27th, 2013, in North America. New Game Network reports that there will be bonus items included in the "initial launch copies of the game."

[Killer is Dead includes] an 80-page hardcover art book, a soundtrack CD containing 25 songs, and the ‘Smooth Operator’ DLC pack containing bonus in-game goods ‘Gigolo Glasses,’ an alternate costume for Vivienne and Mika, a bonus ‘Gigolo Mission’ with Betty, and an entire additional episode with the vampiric Sebastian.

If the content listed above makes your head tilt to the side, than Suda51 did another outstanding job in creating a ridiculous game. The game will of course feature a wild main character that wields a sword and a changeable weapon in both hands, and will be surrounded by a ridiculous plot. While similar to his other assassination games, KID is not a sequel to either Killer7 or the No More Heroes franchise.

KID is a joint development by Kadokawa Games and Suda51's Grasshoper Manufacture studios.
