In a span of 24 hours, Mark Cuban said some things he shouldn't of said in public, got on the offensive, and then apologized for a certain part of the whole thing that he shouldn't have said in public in the first place.
To sum this whole mess up, Cuban just wants to keep it real and make people understand that it's OK to understand we all have "our prejudices and bigotries," but we should help those people out by making them "engage with people they may fear or may not understand."
That's all good and well, but he brought up a bad example (which he later apologized for) about seeing "a black kid in a hoodie." That statement right there got the good old public in tizzy, since they clearly thought he was referring to the Trayvon Martin incident in Florida and even sparked a completely dumb argument between Cuban and ESPN yapper Bomani Jones.
You know that you lost when Jones baits you into an argument, a loudmouth that presents himself better than the actual content spoken and somebody that makes dumb statements all day on Twitter that attracts idiots to say dumb things to him. He responds to the idiots with spelling mistakes and informing them they have a dog avatar. Because he thinks that's hilarious and doesn't know how to engage with people in actual sports conversation. Which 90 percent of those ESPN folk don't know how to do because their head couldn't be further up their ass.
At least Cuban had ESPN super yapper Skip Bayless by the shorthairs when he finally exposed him on national TV by showing how little Bayless actually knows about sports. Bayless barely knows what the difference between zone and man-to-man defense is, but that doesn't spark the numerous idiots watching the worst show in television because him saying that LeBron sucks reels in more views.
In ugly America, where everybody likes to get offended by everything they can possibly get offended by, Cuban should have known that he would have gotten smacked around by those examples. He's a lot smarter than that. This is something you tell your therapist, not the public.
Hell, if I was remotely known publicly when I told people that it's OK to feel weird and uncomfortable when witnessing Michael Sam kissing his boyfriend, I would have been raked over the coals by that statement alone because much of our sensitive nation would have stopped right there, whipped out their Twitter gun, and told me how much of a homophobe I was.
They'll spout that off in a 140-character insult without reading the rest of my thoughts when I explain that people feel uncomortable with the man-on-man kiss because not many people (especially in the Midwest) see that in their life -- including mine -- and the problem begins when those people that don't feel comfortable start spouting off their ugly thoughts on it. Plus, I lived with a gay roommate and have gay friends, but they wouldn't believe that anyway.
Sometimes things just shouldn't be said in public. While I know Cuban meant well on his thoughts, sensitive America can't handle it.

MLB: Weather suspends Giants, Rockies after six innings
Two rain delays finally did in the afternoon game, resulting in a 2-2 tie that won't be finished until September 1st. San Francisco couldn't be happier, they'd love to flee Colorado before anyone else gets injured. Santiago Casilla landed on the 15-day DL, but Buster Posey finally returned to the lineup.
CBB: Texas shuts down top-seeded Oklahoma State in Big 12 Championship
The Longhorns' pitching has been money in the Big 12 Championship so far, and they shut down the regular season champs in a 3-0 game on day two. Dillon Peters and Parker French had five and four innings pitched, respectively, giving up just five hits and one walk and recorded five strikeouts. Texas 1B Kacy Clemens was responsible bringing in all three runs.
Texas will play in a pseudo-semifinal on Saturday at 12:30 PM and will have a rematch with the Cowboys or will play Oklahoma. If the Longhorns lose, they'll play a real semifinal later that day.
NHL: Habs survive with road win on Rangers
Montreal avoids an 0-3 hole by getting a win just a few minutes into overtime at New York. There was nearly a 34-minute span of no scoring from early second period onward until the Canadiens finally broke the 1-1 tie. The Rangers forced overtime with 29 seconds left, but then Alex Galuchenyuk won it for Montreal with his first goal of the postseason.
NFL: Peterson responds to Sherman's yapping on Twitter
Seattle's Richard Sherman can't shut up, so he brings up his interception number as why he's the best, similar to those that think they win in live by bringing up the size of their wang. Arizona's Patrick Peterson went on the offensive and criticized Sherman's job being easier because he sits in a Cover 3 scheme. He doesn't attack the guy's talent, but he doesn't believe he's as good man-on-man. Which is a valid criticism.
Take all three games into consideration against the 49ers. He didn't shut anybody down himself in any of those games. In the first game, the defense got under the player's skin and forced multiple stupid penalties by SF that cost them the game. In the second game, Sherman bitched on the field and he couldn't stop anyone himself. In the NFC Championship, SF did a good job staying away from the areas Sherman was defending, but he had the upper hand on a great play by tipping the ball. But he didn't shut anyone down, unless shutting someone down constitutes as making one play at the end of a game.
