A remake of the cult Super Nintendo hit, Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn, has reached its crowdfunding goal and will be released on PC and a variety of consoles.

Big Deez Productions reached their goal of $450,000, with the final total being $473,884 over at Indiegogo. There were a total of 1,340 different funders for the game. Shaquille O'Neal himself will actually be apart of the development of this game, according to the product page, and there were a number of perks to those that funded before time ran out.

Since the team reached their goal of 450K, that means the game will also be released on consoles: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and even the Wii U. There's no confirmation, but expect the console editions to be the same expected retail price of the PC version: $29.99.

Those that funded the game could have picked it up at half price, and unlimited DLC for life could have been picked up for $25, which is apparently over $200 in value. There could even be a mobile version of the game, but that hasn't been confirmed on the page.

Projected release date has yet to be announced, but early videos of the game already have it looked like a polished 3D fighter that's worthy of making people forget about the cult status of the SNES original. Now we'll see if they can do what the original publishers didn't and complete a quality fighter.
