On Monday, publisher Bandai Namco addressed rumors that the fan-favorite of the Tales of series would be released in the United States.
No official release date has been set, but the game will come out in Winter 2014 in North America and Europe. Despite the game also being on Nintendo DS and iOS in Japan, it will be a Vita exclusive in the stateside.
PlayStation LifeStyle reports that it's still up in the air if the localization will include a dubbed English track or simply English subtitles, according to a representative from Bandai Namco.
IGN reported earlier Tuesday that Xillia 2 will be released in North America first on August 19th this year, then in Europe a couple days later.
Tales of Xillia 2 will finally be released on PlayStation 3 in August 2014; North America first on August 19, then European territories on August 22. (The game was originally released in Japan on November 1, 2012.)
Of course, a Collector's Edition was announced for it as well, including a soundtrack, figurine, artbook, pocket watch, and more.
The first installment of Xillia came out last August stateside. So for those of you that still have Tales of games in your backlog (like me still needing to complete Graces F), it's time to get cracking on them before two more come out by the end of the year.
