The Sixth Axis broke down even more features that are hidden inside the update, found when exploring the system after the upgrade. Most of these are simple, small updates, but still pretty interesting.
Here are the highlights:
- Hold L2 and press triangle to switch the virtual keyboard from the letters/numbers layout to symbols layout.
- You have to turn HDCP back on to watch Blu-rays or use video streaming services.
- New Blu-ray options: set default languages, allow/deny access to the internet, and filter noise reduction.
- There's an option to dim the screen with the Start Screensaver setting.
- Length of a video that's automatically stored in the share system can be altered from it's default 15-minute setting.
- USB Export works with FAT32 and exFAT formatted drives.
- Multiple broadcast settings have been improved. There's a better layout, a broadcast can be stopped in the Broadcast Settings, and a grief reports can be submitted for inappropriate pictures and broadcasts.
There's a lot more on the website, so click on their feature to scan all the features that haven't been fully documented.
