PlayStation Plus: European list for April may have been leaked, includes Mercenary Kings

The list of games for PlayStation Plus in Europe may have been leaked by a source that has a good reputation for getting the titles correct, and it includes new PlayStation 4 title Mercenary Kings.


Video Gamer (via Gamepointsnow) lists the five games that will likely be on the European PS+ list for April, and one of them could easily be worldwide:

According to the blog, the line-up includes Mercenary Kings on PS4, PES 2014 and Sly Cooper Thieves in Time on PS3, and Hotline Miami and MotoGP 13 on PS Vita.
Not a bad selection by any means.
Mercenary Kings has also been confirmed as the PS Plus free game on the Asian store.

Since Mercenary Kings has been confirmed for the Asian store and now leaked for Europe, it's highly possible that the game will be a freebie in North America.

Don't know what Mercenary Kings is? It's a 2D arcade side-scrolling shooter, in similar taste to the Metal Slug series. The game is developed by Tribute Games, who also released Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game.

That's two reasons why this game is extremely high on my list in games to own on the PlayStation 4. As a Metal Slug fan and with how much I enjoyed Scott Pilgrim, it's going to be hard to resist biting the bullet for Sony's next-gen console until the Black Friday season.
