Amazon's Gold Box features the sale of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition for PlayStation 4.
On Tuesday's "Deal of the Day," Amazon brought down the price of TR: DE to $39.99 for PS4 and Xbox One, a much easier sell than the full retail price of $60.
This should have been the launch price of the enhanced TR remake. While the amount of graphical upgrades are significant and will impact the experience, it doesn't reflect the cost of a brand new experience without any new content.
In fact, some glitches or errors that were found in the original TR remain in this game. The developer just polished off the game to take advantage of what the PS4 can do without taking any time to fix some things.
For those that haven't experienced TR yet, don't hesitate to purchase the game at this price. For everyone else, expect to see this title at $30 or less by the summer season.
