The Order: 1886 developer confirms no multiplayer, FPS rate

PlayStation 4 exclusive, The Order: 1886, will not have a multiplayer option and will run at 30 frames per second according to one of the game's developers.

Ready at Dawn founder and CEO Andrea Pessino confirmed on Twitter (via Attack of the Fanboy) that the game would just include a single-player campaign, and the studio said in an interview that the goal was to get the game to run in 1080p at 30 FPS.

When asked why 30 FPS, Ready at Dawn claims that was the frame rate that they had been targeting all along, focusing on the cinematic experience.
When asked why only single player for The Order, Pessino had this to say. “Better to do one thing well than a whole bunch half-assed. We are trying to make a SP experience you will enjoy.”
A trend of PlayStation-exclusive titles not receiving multiplayer is trending on Sony's new console. inFamous: Second Son won't have multiplayer either.

As a gamer that barely touches multiplayer in any game, this mode won't be missed and a full-fledged first-person experience exceeds any tedious multiplayer option that would have been added.

The new inFamous will give players a different experience if they play through the single-player mode twice, similar to previous games in the franchise. Perhaps this game will give players numerous reasons to replay the campaign.
